There is also a section dedicated to the material we mainly work with — wood, with information about it and advice on how to care for it. This section also briefly covers the history of working with wood and in particular, woodturning, which has a very long history.

2025 Burnside Exhibition:
Our annual exhibition will be held from Tuesday 18 November 2025 to Thursday 15 January 2026 at the Atrium, Burnside Civic Centre, 401 Greenhill Road, Tusmore, South Australia 5065. it will be open and staffed during all hours that the Civic Centre is open.

The usual range of quality woodcraft will be on display and for sale. Members will be on hand to discuss all matters relating to the craft.
